RME FIREFACE 400 Review - My Personal Review Of The Best Soundcard EVER!

I wrote this review for the people having a hard time deciding which soundcard to buy.

I can positively definitely and with out hesitation recommend the RME Fireface 400 and would definitely say it was the smartest BUY for my studio EVER!

I've used the FF400 for a couple of years now and its worked flawlessly. I recommended the card to several friends and its worked flawlessly for them as well.

The RME Fireface 400 works brilliantly on MAC or PC. Whilst the features (below) are well spec'd for a unit this size its reliability of the soundcard that makes it a winner. I have no idea why their drivers are so much better then their competitors but they are and they work. Real good.

The RME Fireface 400 obviously has a tonne of features. The FF400 has so many features that I didn't actually need to buy the FF400 bigger brother the Fireface 800 (which is a great soundcard in its own right!).

I won't be covering all the features here as that would take too long so here are my favorites.

• Two digitally controlled Mic Preamps in high-end quality
• Two balanced universal inputs for line and instrument signals
• SteadyClock for maximum jitter suppression and clock refresh
• Simple stand-alone operation with rotary encoder and front panel display
• Firewire connection
• Excellent Support (if you ever need it)
• Works perfectly on MAC and PC
